Mashpee Clean Waters is an informal grassroots movement to drive attention to water quality issues in Mashpee. The chief issues are currently too much nitrogen in our salt waters and too much phosphorus in our fresh waters. The primary sources are septic systems, fertilizers, and stormwater runoff.
